WORK WITH US

We’re busy doing arts and building a connected community.

There are three different ways to work with us, and they’re not the same thing: you might want to hire us to make something, partner with us to build something together, or work for us as a freelancer. Whichever it is, there’s a person at the other end.

IF YOU WANT TO HIRE IJAD

We make the work

01

Commission a performance

Live, phygital or fully hybrid performance work – built for physical and digital audiences from the first creative decision, not adapted afterwards.

02

Book a workshop

Corporate or education workshops, delivered online or in person — movement, technology and hybrid practice, tailored to your group.

03

Request consultancy

Advice, not performance — on live hybrid production, methodology (Sensography, Polyphonic Strategies), or embedding artist-led thinking into a technical project or organisation.

IF YOU WANT TO PARTNER WITH IJAD

We build the work together

04

Propose a research partnership

We’re an active co-designer on HAMLET and open to further research collaborations — universities, technologists and cultural institutions working at the edge of embodiment and AI.

05

Co-create a new work

Venues, festivals and artists bringing their own idea, wanting to build it with us rather than commission us to build it for you.

IF YOU WANT TO WORK FOR IJAD

We’re hiring, sometimes as freelancers

06

Freelance opportunities

Current and upcoming freelance roles — production, technical, digital marketing, engagement. Check here first; we post here before anywhere else.

07

Join our freelancer network

No current opening that fits? Send us what you do — we keep a network of freelancers we go to first when something comes up

EVERYONE ELSE

Or just talk to us

08

Ask a question

Not sure which of these fits, or just curious about the work? Ask us directly — or send it in to Ask IJAD if it’s something other artists would benefit from too.

09

Donate

The world already draws people’s attention away from their bodies — and that pull falls hardest on people who never get invited back to it. Donations fund the free and low-cost community sessions that commissions and grants don’t cover, so that invitation reaches further than whoever can already afford a ticket.

IJAD is a registered charity. Charity no. 1080776.

Tell us what you’re thinking about

One form, four possible reasons to write. Pick the one that fits closest — we’ll route it to the right person and reply directly.
