Where the body’s language gets passed on.

Structured programmes for artists, students and professionals working across live hybrid practice — not one-off workshops, but sustained arcs of development, where the idea gets tested before it gets shown.

OOT Residency
26–27

A six-month residency exploring how live bodies and digital systems compose shared realities together, rather than simply moving between them. Open to artists across dance, theatre, music, performance and technology — no technical expertise required, just a genuine question about presence, liveness, or the body in mediated space.

“The body does not move between realities. It composes them. We are not asking artists to adapt to a technology. We are asking what a body, live, present, particular, can compose when it is given the tools, the time, and the trust to find out.”

— Joumana Mourad, Founder & Artistic Director, IJAD and OOT

Nine live tensions to work inside

Body/system, live/mediated, near/remote, visible/invisible, touch/signal, theatre/XR, audience/participant, presence/multipresence — one tension still to confirm.

Developed through IJAD’s Innovation Lab and its practice of Sensography — the design of sensory relationships between bodies, spaces, materials and technologies.
